Welcome to my portfolio! I am Meng-Ju (Trinity) Chiu, currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, following my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Central University.
At fAIshion, I focus on innovative software engineering projects, leveraging TypeScript, React, and RESTful APIs to deliver impactful solutions. My current responsibilities include contributing to feature development for Chrome Extension in AI fashion area, fostering collaboration and technical precision.
In my previous role as a Product Owner at MobileDrive, I led cross-functional teams in the development of advanced Unity applications for Head-Up Display and Dynamic Road View. I contributed to the embedded software roadmap for automotive HUD systems, translating user research into 40+ actionable stories that enhanced productivity and reduced cycle time. Utilizing Agile methodologies, I streamlined project workflows to ensure efficient progress tracking and fostered collaboration with multinational partners such as Stellantis Co. This experience honed my ability to manage complex projects, coordinate with diverse teams, and deliver high-quality products on time.
My technical expertise spans programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, complemented by proficient database management skills in SQL and MongoDB. I am also experienced in full-stack web development and data analysis, bringing a holistic approach to creating impactful solutions. My skills in project management tools like Jira, combined with my knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, enable me to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am passionate about crocheting, exploring cafes, and cooking.
In my free time, I love creating handmade crochet items, from coasters to cute toys. This creative outlet helps me unwind and brings a sense of accomplishment when I see my finished projects. My crochet journey has taught me patience and attention to detail, skills that I find valuable in my professional life as well.
Cooking is another passion of mine - I enjoy experimenting with different cuisines and techniques. Whether it's trying out new recipes or putting my own twist on traditional dishes, the kitchen is where I can be creative and share my creations with friends and family. My favorite dishes to make include Taiwanese street food and fusion recipes that combine different cultural influences.
As a cafe enthusiast, I love discovering unique coffee shops and boba tea houses in LA. Each visit is an opportunity to experience different atmospheres, meet new people, and find inspiration for my next project. I particularly enjoy cafes that combine good coffee with a cozy, creative environment where I can work on my crochet projects or catch up on reading.
